Following the previous blog entry entitled: "Are you LinkedIn ?", and our announcement that a special group had been created in LinkedIn so that French Speaking Geospatial Experts can identify themselves.

We have taken the initiative to create the group in Viadeo, Plaxo and Facebook, the three other most popular networks.

Thus, the same "GÉO-FR.” Group now exists in the four networks. A brand new Website, www.geo-fr.com has also just been created in order to facilitate the redirection of interested people towards the "GÉO-FR." Group in one of the four networks.

This initiative has been taken to meet the actual reality, which shows a growing popularity of this kind of networks and the progressive abolition of the frontiers between social networks and socio-professional networks (visit Louis Naugès’ blog on this topic).
